I have a LLB (Hons) and BCA from Victoria University of Wellington and a PhD (Law) from the University of Melbourne. I am a Professor of Law and Rutherford Discovery Fellow at the University of Canterbury.

is recognised globally, especially on freshwater and marine law and policy. I have published widely and lead multidisciplinary research teams.
